Drop-In Center
In 1981, Covenant House began as a Drop-In Center to serve as a day shelter and resource center for those in Charleston experiencing homelessness or other emergency needs due to poverty. An average of eighty men, women, and children per day come through the front doors looking for a safe place to rest or to obtain help. The Drop-In Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 4:00 (closed 12:30-1:00 for lunch). Everyone is welcome.
